Tania Cannarsa is an internationally acclaimed salsa and mambo dancer renowned for her elegant fusion of classical dance techniques and Afro-Cuban body movement. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Italy, she began her dance journey at age 10 with classical ballet, later expanding into jazz, lyrical dance, and Latin styles. Her early experience includes performing with the “Latin Black” troupe and Marco Beretta’s “Flamboyant Dancers,” where she honed her skills in New York-style salsa.


Tania's professional career includes teaching alongside Jonathan Somoza and serving as the principal dancer with Adolfo Indacochea’s Latin Soul Dancers. She is also the founder of the global dance team “Black Soul Sisters,” which offers classes and performances worldwide .


She has performed and taught at major salsa congresses and festivals around the world, including the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival and the Magic Salsa Festival in Slovenia . Tania also collaborates with Adolfo Indacochea on the Empire Mambo online platform, providing over 200 hours of mambo and salsa lessons .​


Known for her smoothness, technical precision, and expressive style, Tania Cannarsa continues to inspire dancers globally through her workshops, performances, and online classes.​
