How was Blen Blen's 7 Year Anniversary w/Iroko?

Saturday was the 7 year anniversary at Blen Blen. 7 years of music, guest stars, and social dancing. And this year's highlight was the amazing Iroko Dance Company with Ernesto & Denisse. Tampa's amazing team taught a 3 hour workshop covering dance etiquette, partner work and mambo shines.

Later, they closed out another incredible set of shows by Idali Zarate, Movement Dance Project, the Jades, Alma of Divinas DC, Movers & Shakers debut, Damian Orduna, and EMDC. The finale by Iroko was one of the best shows Blen Blen has ever had.

The rest of the night was headed by DJ Mundo from San Francisco. He played another awesome set until 3am. And the vibe of the dancers reflected how much they enjoyed his music. A good social starts with a great dj. In the other rooms, DJ Vince was playing Bachata, Warapo played the Cuban mix, and Raul played Hustle.

Despite the challenges of the night, riots, unrest, traffic, the crowd that came out got a show to remember!
